Custom Metal Gates in Wimberley, TX
Wimberley properties tend to follow the terrain: creek frontage along the Blanco, cedar-covered hillsides, and long gravel approaches off narrow county roads. Big Ass Gates fabricates gates in New Braunfels and ships them to Wimberley built to the exact opening, not a stock width.
Gate Needs in Wimberley
Many Wimberley driveways approach at an angle or climb a slope, which usually rules out a swing gate and points to a cantilever or sliding gate instead. Short-term rental and guest house properties often want a keypad or app-controlled entry, and gates are frequently set between limestone columns or cedar posts. Because lot lines here often sit close to the road, confirm setback requirements with Hays County before setting posts.

Wimberley Gate FAQs
Can you build a gate for a sloped Wimberley driveway?
Yes. Sloped approaches generally call for a cantilever or sliding gate on a level runway, or a swing gate with an operator rated for the grade. Send photos of the approach with your quote request and we will specify the right style.
Do you handle gates for rental properties in Wimberley?
We build gates with keypad, remote, and app-based entry so guests can be given temporary access codes without handing out keys.
